Records Digest 4x 5" Hand Bound Book - Graves, Turner Cody, Southerly, Golden Boots PIAPTK - 067
This item isn't currently available.
You get:
-4x 5" Clear, lathe cut 5" Records from Graves, Golden Boots, Turner Cody, and Southerly
-Hand-bound book with 13 silkscreened pages of art from the artists
-Lathe Cut CD with all 8 songs, plus a mashup micromix bonus track lathe cut into the back of the cd.
-Turntable adapter that will allow you to play the cd on your record player.
This is hands down the most labor intensive (and, in my opinion, the most beautiful) record that we've ever made here at PIAPTK. Each of these books took over 4 hours to make when you include the time of cutting/preparing the plastic for the records, lathe cutting the records, printing/cutting/mounting the record labels, cutting paper, silkscreening (13 pulls), foiling, embossing, gluing/assembling, drilling holes for binding, binding, etc.

To see the long, boring making of video to get a real taste of the monotony of running a vinyl vanity art label, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BFkk7aptZ4
